PTFE Coated Zone Tapes for Heat Sealing and Packaging

Custom Nonstick Tape Solutions for Clean Seals, Improved Heat Transfer, and Extended Equipment Life

Close up view of Taconic PTFE coated Zone Tape applied to a heat sealing bar on a packaging machine, showing non adhesive lanes for improved heat transfer, clean seal performance, and extended equipment life in high temperature packaging applications.

Taconic PTFE Zone Tapes

Taconic PTFE coated fabric Zone Tapes are engineered for applications where pressure sensitive adhesive is needed only on specific areas of the tape, leaving clear non adhesive lanes. These lanes protect critical heat sealing elements in packaging and bag making equipment while maintaining excellent heat transfer and reliable seal quality.

By removing adhesive from the heating elements, Zone Tapes help increase throughput through improved thermal flow, reduce build up on seal bars, and extend belt and tape life in demanding heat seal packaging operations.

Flexible configurations for your process: Zone Tapes are available up to 18.5" wide with customer specified adhesive widths and locations, supplied in 18 or 36 yard rolls. A wide range of FDA compliant Taconic PTFE coated fabrics from 3 to 10 mils can be combined with five different adhesive systems to match your sealing conditions and packaging materials.
