Brake Pad Production

We spend much of our lives in the fast lane but being able to slow down and stop when we need to is now more important than ever. Knowing where the brakes are and when to use them is a crucial part of our lives, in more ways than one.

For almost 60 years Taconic has been proudly associated with the manufacture of many parts for the automotive industry, none more vital than such key components as brake pads. Taconic’s specially designed PTFE coated fiberglass products are used to cure the press formed resin bonded pads. Once produced, these parts are then sprayed and dried, once again using Taconic’s specially engineered high-performance conveyor belt materials.

Taconic’s belting products deliver superior release, abrasion and chemical resistance, dimensional stability, and long life, all at continuous high temperature, to ensure our customers manufacturing process continues uninterrupted and with maximum efficiency. Taconic won’t slow you down, but machine downtime will!
