Taconic Industrial Products Division Announces Opening of Taconic Canada
September 20, 2004 – Due to the increasing demand for customer support, Taconic is pleased to announce the establishment of Taconic Canada . Taconic Canada will take the lead as Regional Sales Representative for the Canadian marketplace providing local service, support and manufacturing. Taconic Canada will serve the company's Industrial Products Division, which manufactures PTFE coated fiberglass tapes, fabrics and belts for a multitude of industries including aerospace, packaging, textile and food processing.
Taconic is also pleased and excited to announce that Malcolm Green is returning to Taconic to fill the position of General Manager/Taconic Canada. Previously holding the position of Taconic Technical Director, Malcolm is well versed in the use of Taconic products. Led by Malcolm, Taconic Canada will maintain close contact with our Taconic Team to ensure that Taconic's valued customers continue to receive the service they require and deserve . “Malcolm will focus on serving our Canadian customers and developing a stronger position in the Canadian marketplace for North America 's Industrial Products Division, as well as establishing a permanent operation in Ontario,” commented Larry Carroll, Taconic's CFO.
